Here's a a pet peeve I never knew I had until today.

People who eat string cheese by taking chomping bites out of it rather than pulling the cheese vertically apart to achieve the "stringing" effect. WHY? I know it requires both hands to eat it the correct way, but good Lord, taking bites out of it? It's uncivilized.

~~

A so-so looking man opened his mouth the other day while we were in line in the grocery store, and an Australian accent came tumbling out! Thereby making him 1000 times hotter in my eyes. And it was a deep voice, too, kind of gravelly. Hmm. Nicest two minutes I've ever had in a grocery store, not gonna lie.

~~

Today I ordered a cheeseless nacho supreme over the phone and half the people in my office laughed. Oh, the inhumanity!

~~

Yesterday a supervisor told me how much the Boss liked my work and how he wished he had two or three more of me. Today my supervisor was lightly, jokingly (air quotes) complaining to that supervisor how I'm behind in my work because I talk to my work friend too much. Whaaa-? This will be an interesting review coming up.

~~

My work friend and I have decided that we are the platonic version of Jim and Pam. I will immediately see about setting up a cam in the office to record the batshit hijinks. See above.

~~

I watched Sherlock Holmes the other day, finally. I felt like I was watching an AU of House.

LOL re the string cheese. I actually find that biting into it ruins the flavor. Doing it in strings makes for a lighter flavor. Doing the bite thing makes it almost flavorless if that's possible. So I've only really taken bites a few times when I was in a hurry. Definitely a string eater here. :)

Yay for sexy tiems at the grocery store! You had a good day there. :D

I envy your work friendship. I have no female friends at work. All men and only one worth staring at. *sigh*

Re Sherlock Holmes, does that mean you liked it?

I've noticed that too. I mean, obviouly I'm not a big cheese person but string cheese has this nice mild flavor that melts on my tongue when I 'string' it.

In my current job, there's plenty to stare at. Maybe nt as much as if I were to be employed at a fire station but I've got a pretty good view most days, lol. And I've always made good work friends with other girls. Though I've noticed they've been getting younger and younger. *sigh*

I did like it. But Jesus, I think I've read too many F_S posts because I figured the movie would be 99% Holmes and Watson scenes. Imagine my surprise to see Rachel McAdams in at least half the movie. She and RDJ had surprising chemistry, as did RDJ and Jude Law.

I do wonder if Guy Ritchie watched House, though.

Yes! THIS. Absolutely.

I shamed myself recently by flirting with an Aussie during a telephone interview. Even though he started it by saying it was a shame we didn't have webcams. I found his picture on the website, and he turned out to be a dead ringer for Peter Garrett of Midnight Oil. Not my cuppa, but not as bad as it might have been if he'd seen me...

And! HI HI HI HI ♥

HI! <3

In my last job (customer service rep), I used to keep the guys with the Aussie accents on the phone longer than I needed to, :D. And yeah, it sort of ruins things when you see pics of them. But the guy in the grocery store? Not bad at all - just not my type physically. Until he opened his mouth. :D
