So the days are somehow getting away from me. I thought my double post had caught me up yesterday but when I looked at the calendar today, I realized I was still
behind. So here's another double post and maybe I'll truly be on schedule after this.
Anything that ever came out of Cordelia’s mouth. The ones I tend to use when I talk are, in no particular order:
“Rude/in-a-hurry/harsh much?” And any permutation of that.
“Tact is just not saying true stuff. I’ll pass.”
“Don’t you have an elsewhere to be?”
“Oh so funny. Any time now I’m sure to laugh.”
“I don’t think. I know.”
“What’s the what?”
One of the best things BtVS gave us is an incredible new way to speak the English language, and the ability to turn any noun into a verb. :D
Honestly, it’s a lot of little moments before, during, and after the Big Moments. The Scoobies on Buffy’s bed watching Bollywood and doing Willow’s hair. The Scoobies pre-Restless, laying around the living room. The times Willow and Buffy reclined on a headstone and talked about boys….aka vampires and werewolves. The dinners at Joyce’s in s5, Thanksgiving during Pangs in s4. Spike on Giles’ couch pulping up his blood with Wheatabix and peanut butter. Xander picking Buffy and Dawn up in Lessons. Because their lives are so much about life-and-death and questionable choices and swelling music, I get a lot of the group dynamic during the teasers and ending five minutes of almost every episode. If the Big Moments make them heroic, than those little Moments make them human, and friends.
