I've read so much by this point in time, guys, that sometimes I think I might be regurgitating what I've ingested at some point.

I'm writing and this paragraph comes out of nowhere. I like it, I want to use it, but I don't want to plagirize.

Has anyone read this anywhere before?

She speaks softly to him, confessing her fear, her pain at having to do this for someone who’s just gonna get up and leave when he’s ready. But she can’t not help Angel. She thinks by now it’s encoded into her DNA along with hazel eyes and brown hair.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Hmm. Have you checked lostakasha, starlet, and inamorata's fic? or maybe little heaven or princess twilite? [scratches head.]

good luck.

I don't think it was Kelley, or akasha, but I shall be scouring the other girls you mentioned.

It had to have come from some where, it seemed so familiar as I was writing it. Really odd deja vu.

Thanks for the suggestions. I wouldn't have thought of Twilite.

Grr! It sounds so familiar - especially that last line. It's not damskippy's is it? WHOSE is it?!

I swear, I've seen it before, and it wasn't behind my eyelids either.

*scratches head*

I can only tell you it isn't mine...it sounds like Deb....

and we are now inventing a new game: C/A Guess That Line!

Which would be sooooo freakin' funny. Hmmm. That might be a post!

I didn't think it was yours, your writing is much more full bodied.

And I *love* that game!

But let's do it with Friends -

"Get there faster!"

Thanks for the compliment, guys, but I've never written anything that good. Sorry, Sam, but I don't recognize it. It could be Starlet or Daisy or Psychofilly, but it doesn't jump out at me as having read it before just in *that* way. The idea I may have read before, but that's not a plagiarizing offense.

Pfft. Your stuff is good, what are you talkin' 'bout?

It just felt like when the words were coming out, that somehow, I'd heard it before. Or read it before. OR something. Just the weirdest deja vu.

I think the theme might be familiar, but it seems like your words. I think you are safe. Definately not me, I am nowhere near that talented

I just have the weirdest feeling that I had seen them before, more specifically, the last sentence.

Meh, I'll probably use it, at least until someone tells me they wrote them and I just absorbed it somehow.

Don't we all absorb what we read/watch to a degree? It's bound to bleed into our own life/work, a little at least.

I too don't recognise it, and I've read many fics in my years in the fandom ....I also don't think you give yourself much credit, imagery -or word-wise, M. I read this kind of faboo-ness in all of your fic all the time, so shush and write :P
