Oh yes

It's been one of those weeks where I literally dragged my tired posterior home every night.

But, oh, guess what I'm listening to?

A thingy by Beethoven, called For Elise.

I'm not into classical music (what's on my iPod is usually Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool, Breaking Benjamin, Metallica and Korn). What I've heard of classical music I've gleaned from hanging out in the right elevators.

But for as long as I can recall, I'd hear bits of this piece and pause.

So a customer had it as his hold music once upon a time, and I remarked on it. He used to be a piano teacher so he told me what it was called and who wrote it.

I downloaded it post haste.

It's lovely, so wonderfully sublime. It makes me feel as though I'm dancing on water like a ballerina in the moonlight.

If I had to pick a song that best describes the emotion of love, this would probably be it.

*dances away on a cloud of calm*

  • What I've been up to

Actually, not much of anything other than the usual work, work, family, work. :) I feel really rusty updating. I've let my writing slough off until…

Times might be changing. Thanks to Suzanne Collins and her creation Katniss Everdeen, I got my daughter a good representation of a bow and some…
