For anyone who might know?

I have two racks of short pork ribs that I'm thawing for dinner tonight.

I'm wondering if it's better to boil them before sticking them in the oven?

Or just stick them in the oven at a lower temperature for a little longer amount of time?

I want tender and I paid too much to guess with these.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

I always par boil ribs for a while before I cook them...makes them tender. So- put them in water to cover, bring to boil and turn the heat way down so they simmer and let them go for an hour or as long as you like.
